Special thanks to Wayne Gretzky and pros, Ricky Barnes, David Hearn and Chris Nallen, who demonstrated their incredible skill and graciously seeded the leaderboard for participants to challenge them. Thanks also to the organizers of the event, Samsung for providing tournament locations and TVs and to the Georgian Bay Club for their hospitality. About The Ford Wayne Gretzky Par-3 Challenge
A closest-to-the-pin contest against the pros, played virtually on hole# 17 of the Georgian Bay Club, home of the Classic, with a chance to win the $10 million Dream Shot hole-in-one prize. The Par 3 Challenge showcases leading edge technologies in golf simulation and interactive TV to create a golf tournament playable over live TV. Participants played their shots on Golf Launchpad Tour, Electric~Spin's state-of-the-art home golf simulator, and watched their shots rendered in high definition video on the 175 yard, over-water, 17th hole of the Georgian Bay Club, host of the Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic presented by Samsung, a Nationwide Tour event.
