Key Responsibilities
  • Product development and manufacturing engineer, responsible for product specification, design, vendor selection, production oversight and QA.
Experience
Industrial or mechanical engineer with at least 3 years' experience in the electronics, automotive or other technology industry in manufacturing with direct experience in:
  • injection molding (mold and part design)
  • steel fabrication and machining
  • thermoforming

Must be fluent in 2D and 3D CAD design

Qualities:
  • Technical adept and fluent with the latest manufacturing technologies
  • Meticulous and quality oriented
  • Quick learner, lateral thinker, aesthetically oriented
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, including reading and developing specifications documents
  • Motivated, self-starter who thrives in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment who needs supervision in small doses but seeks challenges in megadoses
  • Can work time-shift hours when liaising with the Toronto engineering team
