Launchpad is not detected as a USB device on Windows

If you are having issues with LPDR when connecting the Launchpad or you get "Unable to install drivers" error on Windows, here are some steps you can take to fix the problem.
1. Unplug the Launchpad, keep it unplugged until step 9.
2. Restart your PC and wait until windows starts.
3. Perform
Windows Update
before following any further steps.
4. Make sure Windows Defender and/or Any antivirus program you are running are disabled.
5. Uninstall any previous versions of LPDR if you already installed it.
6.
Download
the latest LPDR from our website and install it.
7. Make sure only one copy of LPDR is installed and running. (You can verify how many copies are running by going to Windows Task Manager and Checking the Applications Tab for LPDR. If more than one is running you can end it).
8. If you are using a laptop make sure all USB peripherals like mouse/wireless keyboards etc are unplugged.
9. Make sure there is no sunlight or bright spot lights shining directly onto the Launchpad and plug it in to a working USB Port of the computer (not a USB hub). DO NOT use an extension cable.
10.If the launchpad is not recognized, unplug it, wait 10 seconds and replug into the same USB port.
11. If the issue persists, repeat step 10 with all the other ports on the same computer, and, if available, other computers.
12. If other ports/computers are not available. Go to
Device Manager
.
13. Expand the Human Interface Devices section, find a device that has yellow exclamation mark beside it, right click, select Properties.
14. Go to Driver tab, click Update driver and follow the instructions on the screen.
If, after all the steps above your Launchpad is not detected, please create a service ticket in our
support system
and be sure to include a screen shot from the Device Manager's USB section:

One within device manager navigate to the USB(Universal Serial Bus) section in the list, right click on each item in there, select Properties until you find Golf Launchpad, and take a screen shot. updating your ticket with that info (
