Last week, I spotlighted a gyroscopic driver that straightens your swing. This week, it is the Golf Launchpad Tour, which now works with your DVR box, so you can play right alongside pro golfers on the tele, with your own clubs. (As if that will improve your odds.) The launchpad has embedded sensors that track your club as you whack its tethered ball, measuring angle, velocity, acceleration, and path. You cannot beat playing real golf on a course with fresh air and that nice peaceful feeling only golfers know, but this golf gadget shown at CES 2008 is the most realistic golf product I have seen yet. The product is apparently called the ìGolf Launchpadî and we have a video below showing the gadget in action at the Consumer Electronics Show, it seems to be playing on Tiger Woods and is said to work with the Sony PS3, PC and Mac.
